Location:
Our principal location is in Skaneateles, NY (www.skaneateles.com), a resort
community in Upstate New York. Our location is an ideal environment for
off-site meetings, where clients can think and strategize in comfortable
and beautiful surroundings. Additionally, we have a field office in New
York City to better serve our clients. The staff is accustomed to working
on the road to service clients or researching around-the-world.
Burke Institute Methodologies:
While Vincent McCabe has a variety of proprietary
systems, our basic statistical work uses the classical and proven methods
developed by the Burke Institute, the leading educational institution for
marketing research.
Call Center:
Our Skaneateles facility features a Call Center and can accommodate up to
10 telephone stations. Here we can handle the most demanding of data acquisition
projects. Our Executive Interviewers all hold college degrees and are highly
experienced in dealing with upper-level job titles and extremely technical
material.
Focus group industry relationships around the country:
In addition to our own resources, we have contacts and long-standing relationships
with focus group facilities, sample selection providers, list houses, online
focus group experts, brand experts and a variety of other research providers.
Internet-based Surveys Completed In-house:
VMI develops all its own Internet surveys. This offers the client additional
speed and control for projects that need rapid turnaround.
Software:
We have committed extensive company resources to the ongoing
development of research tools and techniques. Investments have been made
in Mercator software, Sawtooth conjoint software, SPSS, Q-methodology software
and marketing engineering software, among others.
Scope:
While our primary expertise is in the US market, we have conducted international
research projects through our partners in other countries and our QRCA
and MRA networks.
Proprietary Qual/Quant Focus Group Methodology:
Vincent McCabe introduced a new type of focus group at the Qualitative Researchers
Consultants Association (QRCA) Annual Conference. By combining qualitative
research with quantitative methodologies that rapidly describe the insights
from the group, VMI offers its clients speed and a deeper understanding
of subconscious beliefs.
Panels:
Panels are groups of people who have opted in to do research. While there
are many houses offering consumer panels, Vincent McCabe makes the hard-to-find
